trigger happy tv – 07/02/04

Being unemployed in the big city can cause some incredible stress. For example, living day to day not knowing where your next meal will come from can prove to be a little nerve racking. Luckily, Comedy Central provides one hour of escape for me and millions like me on weekday afternoons. Trigger Happy TV soothes the anguish and misery that is my life, and makes me feel like I’m a kid again.

If you are unfamiliar with the show, Trigger Happy TV is basically a ridiculously funny version of Jackass. Now, don’t get me wrong, Jackass was a funny show, but that was more about the shock value than actual comedy. Trigger Happy TV is downright funny. There are still some shocking moments, but they are all in the name of comedy, not just to be as shocking as possible.

The majority of the skits involve the men and women of Trigger Happy TV just f**king around with people on the street or in bars. This may include the occasional impersonation of a police officer, annoying tourist, or a man dressed up in a dog or rabbit suit.

Whatever the episode may involve, it is almost guaranteed to make you laugh-out-loud while you slowly drift into a state of altered consciousness and forget the pathetic existence that you are living. Unless, of course, you are happy with your place in life, in which case, congratulations, you’re probably employed.
